By the end of nine months of pregnancy you're probably very excited for it to be over so you can finally meet your baby. Or maybe you’re feeling nostalgic and you want to keep your baby close for as long as possible. A plaster cast of your pregnant belly can be a great way to keep the memories of your pregnancy with you even after your baby is born.
The process of plaster casting is fairly straightforward and takes between one to two hours. It can include the chest as well as the belly and you can even decorate it after it has dried.
I provide all the materials, including the plaster bandages, Vaseline, a bowl for water, a drop cloth and newspaper. The plastering takes about an hour and then the finished cast has to dry. When it is finished and sealed I will return it to you within the week.

There are a lot of decisions to make about the way you want to birth. Maybe you’ve read books or listened to the advice of friends and family, but you just don’t know what feels right to you. Or maybe you have a very clear vision for your birth experience, but you don’t know how to get others on board with it. I can be a sounding board for ideas, help you weight to pros and cons, and give you evidence-based information so that you can make informed decisions. Birth planning isn’t about restriction, it's about possibility and getting in touch with your intuition. It's your birth, no one else’s and you deserve to make the choices that feel the best for your body and your baby.

Each planning session is between one to two hours with additional email support. It can also be done over the phone or video call if that is more convenient.

There is nothing quite so sweet and delicate as a baby’s fingers and toes. They are preciously small but they won’t stay that way for long. A paint or clay print of their hands and feet is a wonderful keepsake for when they’re older and you want to look back on how small they once were.

I provide the paint, paper and clean up supplies or alternatively the salt dough if you want a three dimensional mould. All you have to do is provide the baby. We’ll work together to make the process of printing as smooth as possible, but the length of time it will take depends on the individual situation.
